In this article, we will review some of Callaway's Golf Clubs. As you probably know, a Callaway Golf Club is no ordinary club. It is used by the best, and only the best.
Callaway Big Bertha Woods Get It No Hesitation
By adapting modern golf driver head features to their fairway woods, Callaway Golf has created woods with larger head volumes and shallower face designs resulting in increased forgiveness and confidence at address.
Larger Head Volumes: Increases the Moment of Inertia by reducing twisting on off-center hits, resulting in straighter shots.
Modified Consistent Alignment Sole: The clubhead rests on two distinct areas of the sole, eliminating the tendency of the head to rock back and forth, helping ensure that shots start on-line. It also provides improved turf interaction from a variety of lies.
Patented Callaway Golf Core Technologies: VFT Technology maximizes ball speed and perimeter weighting for more distance and forgiveness; S2H2 increase discretionary weight by removing it from the hosel and repositioning it in the perimeter of the clubhead; and Tru-Bore provides improved feel and clubhead control.
Longer, Shallower Face with Lower Leading Edge:
Provides larger effective hitting area and ease in getting the ball airborne for optimum trajectory. The longer face (heel to toe) increases MOI while the lower leading edge increases confidence at address.
The look and feel of this hybrid suits me just fine. What i really like is the low penetrating trajectory that my swing produces with this club. i tried to get more loft out of it but that turned out to be a disaster. with a smooth even tempo swing it will carry around 225-235yrds at what seems like eye level though i know its higher and the roll gets me a few more yards. if i try to swing hard it gets ugly. the sound is nice and i find it easier to get off the deck if the grass isn't cut to tight. i will sometimes use it off the tee which adds another 10-20yrds counting to roll if all goes well.
